A family and friends were surprised when they heard that a game called ‘Molly’s Game’ was being sold at their local Walmart store.
“It’s not just a cute little game, it’s a very important story, and it’s not only for our kids,” said Michelle Hogg, who was at the store Tuesday when the game was announced.
The game is designed to teach kids the basics of how to survive, and the game has an estimated value of about $1,000.
It was sold by a local Wal-Mart store in San Jose, California, where it’s been available since September.
Hogg and her husband, John, said they bought the game when they were just 15.
“We’ve been playing it since we were four years old, so it’s kind of a small family,” she said.
The Hoggs said they love the story and how they can use it as a way to connect with their children.
“When we were younger we just knew everything about our children,” Hogg said.
“We knew everything that we could do to get them out of trouble, but when we got older, we realized there were so many different things that could go wrong.”
Hogg said the game helps them to bond with their kids, even when they’re away from home.
“The game really helps our kids grow up and get the information that they need to be successful in life,” she explained.
“It helps them get to know the world.”
